I totally agree with you, this would indeed clear up some miscommunication
within the community.

No flame of blame from me here, we all are learning more everyday with the
community of VtigerCRM.
Allthough I'm not a senior-developer, I would be glad to help out with the
suggested website re-arrangements as (partial-)webmaster :-)
