Sounds like quite the challenge. I just started doing some more  
thorough testing of vtiger 5.0. I have created 3 new tickets on it. I  
was able to create patches for the first two.

#1531 is to reset the Quick Create menu to Quick Create... after  
selecting an item (with a patch).
#1532 cleans up the formatting of the AllMenu: putting headers on all  
columns, keeping the length more consistent (with a patch).
#1533 is a bug when resizing the window too small. the HomePage  
Dashboard looks horrible. There needs to be some resize code, but  
I've not had time to look into patching this one.

If I have time, I will also look for solutions to some of the error  
logs and IE JavaScript Issues. Not sure how much free time I'll have...
