Well that changes now.

We need to support all of the databases adodb has on their "A" list, 
which is Mysql, Postgres, Mssql, Oracle and a couple others. My interest 
is in the open source databases of course, so I will leave MS and Oracle 
support to someone who steps up to the plate.

That would be 4.2.4rc1, not 5.0.

Depending on how the changes look we can do a full or partial merge in 
4.2.5 and beyond.

Just follow the merging practices here[1] and everything should be good.
