If there haven't been any connections to the server for X number of 
minutes (say you were talking to a contact and writing a note), when you 
submit that note, it will ask you to login again.

After you login, the update you sent will not have been saved.

In the right circumstances, you can right click on the back button and 
select the second entry from the top to post your update again.
