OK, so oddly enough, the install of 5.0.0-rc started working... first
after I visited the page with a localhost browser, and subsequently
everywhere else.

There's still errors in the installation.log, but it seems to be
functioning at least.

But running the database migration wizard not only fails to import data
out of a vtigercrm4_2 install, it trashes the local database and forces
a reconfigure/reinstall of install.php

Where are the errors from the data migration process stored?
