Sometimes it is worth waiting a little while to see if vtiger have any <br class="">
thoughts. In the past, some features and code from the cloud version <br class="">
have been back-ported to the open source version.<br class="">

In vtiger cloud, line items are being tracked (See screenshot) so <br class="">
perhaps some the imput about how they have implemented it would be <br class="">
