It happens both on localhost as well as on live crm (we use
different servers).<br>
<br>
Specifically, what I noticed is that if I close the window and then
I try to enter vtiger before the session expires, there's no error:
as soon as I load the page, I get the dashboard screen; if I close
the window and then I try to enter vtiger after session has expired,
I get the error instead of the login page. Sometimes I have to
refresh twice or thrice before I can login again. I use firefox,
which, I noticed, can have some problems with cleaning cache, that's
why I didn't pay too much attention to this issue until I read the
mail this morning.<br>

That looks fine<br>

Is nginx actually running as user nginx or is it
running as a different user?<br>
<br>
Look in your nginx config for the line?<br>
<br>
user nginx;<br>
<br>
If it is something else you may not be executing as
the nginx user.<br>
<br>
You can also use<br>
<br>
ps aux | grep nginx<br>
<br>
it should give you something like this.. (of course I
am running apache)<br>
<br>

I know this sounds silly but I have done it. Are you
looking at the correct document root? If you have a
dev copy and a production copy you may have changed
the permissions for the wrong files.<br>
<br>
If you really get desperate create an empty php file
and put this command in it<br>
<br>
<?php<br>
echo `whoami`;<br>
<br>
Open that in the browser and it will tell you what
user is being executed<br>
<br>
I have put this last but it should be first. Check
your log files, are there any access errors?<br>
