Our users also complained about this today.<br>

For now I have made the following change:<br>
layouts/vlayout/modules/Vtiger/resources/Vtiger.js<br>

and defined a function twtDoNothing which just returns true.<br>

Basically this means tooltips will need to be hidden manually, or
another tooltip will need to be triggered (as the code for this also
hides all other tooltips).<br>

I am sure we will soon find a tooltip where this functionality will
break something, but at least for the list reference fields this is
enough for us to be able to make use of them.<br>
<br>
If anyone does find a better solution I'd be keen to see it.<br>

I am referencing is when a user hovers over a related
field in a list-view, the box that pops up displaying the
Contact information in the vertical box. If you try to
click into that popup box the box disappears.
