A little more, after a suggestion from another list member I have
changed our calendar inside of google to be set to use GMT+0
(Iceland) and now events are synced properly.

From a quick look at the google calendar sync code, it would seem
that it expects google to be providing all times in UTC. Can we get
some input from someone in the vtiger team regarding this?

Thanks

Just some feedback on this after two days of three users using the
system:

user 1 & 2: sync worked fine, until and event was created in
google with a specified timezone (same as the one we use in the
crm as base and on his user), now all data imported from google
comes through missing the timezone (so an event scheduled for 1pm
NZST will enter at 1pm UTC).
user 3: continues to work fine from crm to google, google to crm
does not work at all - this stopped working sometime after the two
systems first came in sync.

Any feedback from others using this system would be much
appreciated. Any documentation from vtiger?

Thanks
On this page we see sync settings for both calendar and
contacts, however calendar settings are not currently released
as part of the opensource package.

Just wondering if this was intentional or due to timing and if
we can expect to see these released?

Also wondering if someone can tell me the expected default
activity in the community version.

After some testing on my install I have found the following
behaviour is likely default:

create / edit / delete from crm to google is synced

create / edit from google to crm is synced

delete in google does not delete in crm

The crm record will not be synced to google again after
it has been deleted there.

When crm record is updated, sync reports an update in
google, but the item is still deleted there.

When crm record is deleted, sync reports a deletion in
google, the item however was already deleted.

CRM item is deleted, if it has been updated in the CRM
after it was deleted in google and sync has already run
previously to try to update the event in google.

Thanks in advance for any input.
