but it will never replace advantages of assigning more than one user to the same record.<br>

This could be also a great advantage if this function could be implemented to crm as a standard.<br>

modules private and assign the records (project) to the volunteer and<br>
that the charity staff would be in a superior hierarchy role so he<br>
would have access to all the information. Then a uitype 101 or similar<br>
field (which you probably already have) to indicate the second user<br>
for reporting,<br>

That way you leave all the permission rules to vtiger crm and use a<br>
second user field only for reporting.<br>

What we need is to be able to assign two users to the same project<br>
and all dependent modules but one user will have different<br>
privileges than other. This structure is for one charity stuff and<br>
one volunteer. there is few reasons to make it this way instead of<br>
other solutions as you mentioned. Thing is that once they using<br>
groups the charity volunteer (with lower level of privileges) will<br>
see other data related to his leader from charity directly. I read<br>
forum and here is some similar cases but looks like no solution yet.<br>
Thinking that two users assigned to particular record might be<br>
comfortable idea. On the other hand it will reduce operations for<br>
admin who anyway is busy as it is rather small group of good guys<br>
who trying to change the world. I am volunteer too so asking here<br>
for help hoping to find similar person :-)<br>
