Would changing + to 'Add' or 'Create' help?

Quick Create does require one more click (to select module) than having
a direct Add button in the module. We will review this. If we add the
'Add' button, should it popup a quick create like mini form, or should
it take use to the full edit form? in the case of the latter, user will
be taken away from the current record. is that desirable?
This is how it works in 5.4.0 and it is consistent. In VT6 there are areas where the UX is inconsistent.

personally I think it would be a good idea to start/document a small sub-project just to focus on UX improvements for the next release(s).
