
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><meta content="text/html;charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"></head><body >Hi&nbsp;All,<br><br>Moving&nbsp;forward&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;forthcoming&nbsp;releases&nbsp;,we&nbsp;have&nbsp;planned&nbsp;to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;the&nbsp;svn&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;<br>following&nbsp;format.&nbsp;&nbsp;Kindly&nbsp;let&nbsp;us&nbsp;know&nbsp;your&nbsp;views&nbsp;on&nbsp;this.<br><br>The&nbsp;following&nbsp;two&nbsp;branches&nbsp;&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;created&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;vtigercrm-5.0.0&nbsp;trunk:<br><br>-&nbsp;5.0.1&nbsp;&nbsp;--&gt;&nbsp;All&nbsp;the&nbsp;bug&nbsp;fixes&nbsp;of&nbsp;vtigerCRM&nbsp;5.0.0&nbsp;wil&nbsp;be&nbsp;done&nbsp;in&nbsp;this&nbsp;branch<br>-&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;&nbsp;--&gt;&nbsp;All&nbsp;the&nbsp;feature&nbsp;additions&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;done&nbsp;in&nbsp;this&nbsp;branch.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;bug&nbsp;fixes&nbsp;done&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;5.0.1&nbsp;branch&nbsp;&nbsp;will&nbsp;also<br>be&nbsp;updated&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;branch.&nbsp;We&nbsp;will&nbsp;require&nbsp;help&nbsp;in&nbsp;this&nbsp;area&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;not&nbsp;that&nbsp;well-versed&nbsp;with&nbsp;svn.&nbsp;Fathi/JeffK&nbsp;will&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;help&nbsp;us&nbsp;out&nbsp;at&nbsp;this&nbsp;stage.<br><br><br>Now&nbsp;when&nbsp;a&nbsp;minor&nbsp;bug&nbsp;fix/patch&nbsp;release&nbsp;namely&nbsp;5.0.1&nbsp;is&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;done,&nbsp;we&nbsp;will&nbsp;do&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;:-<br>&nbsp;the&nbsp;modified&nbsp;source&nbsp;files&nbsp;present&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;5.0.1&nbsp;branch&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;provided&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;zip&nbsp;to&nbsp;upgrade&nbsp;from&nbsp;5.0&nbsp;to&nbsp;5.0.1&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>We&nbsp;will&nbsp;also&nbsp;provide&nbsp;the&nbsp;full&nbsp;.tar.gz/exe/zip&nbsp;files&nbsp;of&nbsp;5.0.1&nbsp;for&nbsp;newly&nbsp;installing&nbsp;users&nbsp;so&nbsp;that&nbsp;it&nbsp;is&nbsp;not&nbsp;required&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;install&nbsp;5.0&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;upgrade&nbsp;to&nbsp;5.0.1<br><br><br>When&nbsp;a&nbsp;medium&nbsp;release,&nbsp;namely-&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;is&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;done&nbsp;inclusive&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;bug&nbsp;fixes/features&nbsp;,&nbsp;the&nbsp;modified&nbsp;source&nbsp;files&nbsp;present&nbsp;ie&nbsp;(5.0.1&nbsp;-&nbsp;5.1)&nbsp;&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;branch<br>will&nbsp;be&nbsp;provided&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;zip&nbsp;to&nbsp;upgrade&nbsp;from&nbsp;5.0&nbsp;to&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>We&nbsp;will&nbsp;also&nbsp;provide&nbsp;the&nbsp;full&nbsp;.tar.gz/exe/zip&nbsp;files&nbsp;of&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;for&nbsp;newly&nbsp;installing&nbsp;users.<br><br><br>Top&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;trunk&nbsp;development&nbsp;is&nbsp;frozen.&nbsp;<br><br>Post&nbsp;&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;we&nbsp;will&nbsp;merge&nbsp;all&nbsp;the&nbsp;files&nbsp;in&nbsp;5.1&nbsp;branch&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;top&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;trunk&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;again&nbsp;we&nbsp;will&nbsp;create&nbsp;the&nbsp;two&nbsp;braches&nbsp;over&nbsp;this,&nbsp;5.1.1&nbsp;for&nbsp;bug&nbsp;fixes&nbsp;and&nbsp;5.2&nbsp;for<br>feature&nbsp;addition.<br><br>Feel&nbsp;free&nbsp;to&nbsp;post&nbsp;your&nbsp;views&nbsp;on&nbsp;this.&nbsp;<br><br>Thanks,<br>Don<br><br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;</body></html>
