[Vtigercrm-developers] Forum/discussions module?

Hi there,

Has anyone ever done a forum module for vTiger? And/or in the portal?

I have a client asking for some discussions/forum functionality with some
groups in, and not sure where to start. I would rather not integrate some
big clunky platform like PhpBB that was made as a standalone, as it would
generate much overhead I fear.
