[Vtigercrm-developers] Split string in field? RegEx?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to remove a part of a string from a text-field. Is there any
split-string functionality-extension anywhere to be found? Or perhaps even
a way to add regex operations to a workflow for a field?

Just thinking that I was probably not the first to have that idea ;-)
