[Vtigercrm-developers] Possible to add variables to URL when creating new record?

It does work, just try this url:
https://demo.vtiger.com/vtigercrm/index.php?module=Contacts&view=Edit&firstname=John&lastname=Doe&email=john@doe.com
(not sure whether it's a security issue or not, but it works)
