Also if you do require_once('vendor/autoload.php') that prevents it being loaded twice if its already been loaded....doesnt it? (So you could add it all over the place, and it wouldn’t make any difference?)

Agree - I don't really follow the need for this.

I use an autoloader quite often but it's trivial to simply include it when and where needed.
