[Vtigercrm-developers] Linking Contact to multiple organisations?

Hi there,

I have a "classic" question I feel ;)

How do you handle a contact being involved in multiple companies? Perhaps
working part time 2 places, or working in Company A and being on the board
of Company B?

I know I can of course just add a field more to a contact relating the
contact to an organisation, but just curious about what solutions the rest
of you clever people use?

The options I can come up with are:

1) Ignore it, say its never possible (and if client insist, tell them to
make multiple contacts)

2) Add 1:1 field more like "Second organisation" to the contact, allowing
for a second? (And what then if there are 3-4-5 other organisations)

3) Add a more "messy" M:M relation to contacts?

Other ideas? Which do you prefer?
