[Vtigercrm-developers] Events notime?

If you describe Events you would observe that there is an attribute
"notime".

What's the use?

Many users need to assign a list of calls to be made by the outbound sales
team. In such cases the Calls/Events assigned can not have a time
component, at the most a date on which the call has to be done.

I feel the notime attribute was for the same case, but has been completely
avoided currently?
