[Vtigercrm-developers] error when saving reports in vt 7.3

In a particular instance of vtiger I get this error when trying to save a
report:

{"success":false,"error":{"code":"DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse
time string (16-2021-07 19:00:00) at position 0 (1): Unexpected
character","message":"DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string
(16-2021-07 19:00:00) at position 0 (1): Unexpected
character","title":null}}
Notice the awkward date format being used: "16-2021-07"

I found the exact same issue in the forum:

but in my case, changing the user's date format doesn't solve the problem.
