[Vtigercrm-developers] Role based picklist value, not much useful?

Role based picklist value are required for many scenarios like in Approvals.

Such as, when a Quote is created, based on discount etc. assign the record
to an Approver.
The Approver would have permission to various picklist (a field Approval
Status) values Approved, Rejected, Need Review etc.
Whereas the requester will have access to only Created, For Approval.

The problem here is, once the approval is done, the Requester can not see
the value! As the user does not have access to values Approved, Rejected,
Need review. It would rather show "Access Denied".

How do you tackle this?
