Basically, if you have ???? as picklist value and that field is included in
your filter and if you perform search on that field for value ????, then
query generation will fail.

I am not sure which all other places would cause issues. Have put a quick
fix in the issue description.

Now these ???? gets inserted when you are importing data and the value in
CSV is not an actual picklist value. I guess similar handling is done in
various other places.
