I don't believe it requires a return value. It works without and there 
is nothing to return "to" in reality.

This code is triggered by an event (Vtiger_Edit_Js.recordPresaveEvent). 
I just needed to the code to stop execution after the form.submit() call.

Simply calling "return;" does that.
