I am not sure, there are lots of issues with the follow up creation and
reminders.
We recommend all our clients to avoid that and to create follow ups
themselves. And had setup workflows to send reminders.
As in the default reminder user cant change the body, has to be changed
from code.
Will try to replicate the issue mentioned by you and let you know the
outcome.
