[Vtigercrm-developers] Changing default view for all users

Hi iko,
This was one of the things that I actually tried. But it didn't have the
desired effect due the fact that the name of the view then became incorrect.
The rules can easily be applied in the 'vtiger_cvadvfilter' and
'vtiger_cvadvfilter_grouping' tables. I created an additional view,
identified the custom view id and the All leads id and then just changed the
cvid in the tables I just mentioned so that the filter was applied to the
All view. This has the desired effect and worked perfectly.
However, the View name 'All Leads' was now incorrect because I had applied a
filter. If you start to change the name of the view in the
'vtiger_customview' table so that it doesn't state 'All', then things don't
work as expected. Some of the things which don't work are:
1. You can now edit the All view (which is now named something different).
2. Even though it is set as default it now isn't set as default.
3. Other users can now edit the view as well.
It seems so unusual that what I want to do isn't just available as standard.
If anyone has any ideas, then that would really be appreciated.
I hope the above helps you apply the rules to the All view.
