Yep - standard behaviour. You'll need to modify the 
Webservices/ConvertLead.php process to suit.

The map doesn't like non-standard UI10 fields and whilst I'm at it,  why 
you can't do things like map a Picklist in a lead to a text field in the 
target is beyond me.
