[Vtigercrm-developers] vtiger usage in healthcare/medical business and iso/ce certification

Well it's mainly because my company consists of many offices and only a
couple have made the change to vtiger already. Others are still using
different solutions as a CRM, some are home-brew intranet solutions and have
a hard time thinking about a change to vtiger and the web. There are many
concerns being raised about the security and if such a system would stand a
chance when certifying our processes.

I am currently preparing an argument about certifications and vtiger, I sure
think this is possible, but it would be good to have some success stories of
other companies who have gone this way. Since our background is medical
software and our customers are all in the healthcare/medical sector, we
always have to consider quality systems, existing certification and
approvals.

Depending on the region, we are talking about different certifications:
- DIN EN ISO 13485 (Medical devices -- Quality management systems --
Requirements for regulatory purposes)
- 21 CFR 820 (CFR - Code of Federal Regulations Title 21)
- ec certificate full quality assurance system
- USA FDA approval
- Chinese FDA approval
- ... many more

Thanks for any input
