[Vtigercrm-developers] Changing type of data

Hello Simone,

First i went to the vtiger_field table and found the field i wanted to
change. I changed the uitype from text (1) to text area (19) leaving the
type of data V~O (varchar - Optional).
When this didn't work i tried a different approach. I went to the specific
table vtiger_contactaddress and tried changing the type from VARCHAR to
TEXT. Also i tried changing the character length from 40 to 250 both in
text type and in varchar type. But still no luck.
