I am in the process of migrating a client from a customised vtiger 5.3.0
to 6.1.0 (well now it will be 6.2.0 I guess).

In my experience, it's a tedious process:

I have to migrate 3 times:

5.3.0 -> 5.4.0
5.4.0 -> 6.0.0
6.0.0 -> 6.1.0
and now
6.1.0 -> 6.2.0

Because it is a very large database I have to "fix" the migration
scripts to stop them trying to create labels in crmentity (takes over 10
hours) and iterate pointlessly over the pbxmanager table for a similar
time...

For developers perspective, it would be a *massive* help if the
migration scripts could be run and managed from the command line as
opposed to via a web browser without needing to be hacked first.

Cheers

Al
