[Vtigercrm-developers] after update to 6.4 save button stays disabled in detail edit mode

I just updated our vtiger to 6.4 on a testing machine.
Whenever I enter the edit mode of an entity, the save button is disabled and
stays disabled. It doesn't get enabled at all.
What went wrong? I disabled all third party extensions, it didn't help.
