[Vtigercrm-developers] Migration 5.3.0 -> 6.3.0 Calendar question

I'm noticing that calendar events seem to be showing the wrong time 
after migration.

Can anyone confirm if the way the date & time are stored in 
vtiger_activity has changed between 5.3 and now? I'm guessing that 
activities were being stored in local time, but are now expected to be 
stored in UTC?

If this is the case, shouldn't this be addressed in the migration scripts?
