In our experience vtiger do "test" the extension to make sure it works 
and doesn't do anything _irregular_. GeoTools is quite a complex module 
and they have rejected a few updates we have submitted for various valid 
reasons we have then addressed... I don't believe you can expect them to 
test every feature however.

No software is ever gong to be bug free so if it doesn't do what you 
expect, or has problems, you should contact the developer of the 
extension in the first instance.

We've been contacted many times for the GeoTools extension and - I hope 
- we have responded and helped our customers as they would expect. Our 
customers have provided us with great feedback, found bugs, and offered 
ideas for improvements. We try and incorporate these fixes into the 
product as soon as we can.

There is a rating system on the Marketplace... If you do not get a 
satisfactory response from the developer you are free to use it. But I 
would always recommend contacting the developer first.
