[Vtigercrm-developers] Session time out

OK will check what and where to set, but curious why earlier versions never timed out.

Secondly and the main reason, when people leave for example the mailmanager screen open en return after half an hour, they can't continue. Hitting refresh icon on the left side gives an ever spinning updater.
Only fully refreshing the page in the browser brings them back to the login page. After that it works as expected.

Got lots of tickets with people saying it is not working anymore because of this. Session time out does not bring them back to the login properly. It gets stuck in the AJAX calls.

Anything to improve there?

Bastiaan,

You can always add the override setting required that is allowed on the server in config.inc.php

Please use trac.vtiger.com<http://trac.vtiger.com> which is our tracker.

OK that answer means: we have no override setting in vTiger so we let clients fiddle around with php.ini files? :-)
CMS like Joomla just have it in their global settings and I found it a good idea.

Can we open a 'wish list' for 6.2?

After two successful update from (early) 6.1 beta's to 6.1 GA, one question remains:

Where do I find the session time setting?

It feels a bit too short to work comfortable.
Previous version did not set it, if I remember well.
