[Vtigercrm-developers] Importing records

Hi,

At the end of import it shows a summery. In that summery whats it means
"records over written" . Whats happening in record over write and whats the
criteria for that.
Its a vtiger version 6, while importing around 7000 records it shows around
6500 records overwritten.
Is there any reported bugs with import ?
