[Vtigercrm-developers] folder "pkg", whats the point on this folder

Hi guys,

In vTiger 6.0 i find a folder called "pkg" in the root folder.

I was wondering which uses have this folder, as I can see inside this
folder:

-apache: this is only to turn off apache?
-bin: I cant see nothing of vTiger6, just for vtiger 5.4 and 4.0.
-license: well, maybe something interesting here.
-php: a recommended php.ini?
-vtiger: maybe a full back up of modules/translations?

So, I think I can delete this folder just to optimize my vTiger?
