[Vtigercrm-developers] Moving Ondeman to Open source

Hi,

    I have a client planned to move from ondemand to opensource for doing
some customization. We have got database dumb file from vtiger. I would
like to hear the best method for this from someone experienced and what are
possible challenges.

    My plan is to create a fress vtiger 6.1 installation and swap the
database. Possbile challenge in this method is missing userprivilages
files. there is only 5 users exists.  we mailnly caring about the records
and comments. not bothered about data sharing between users which we can
setup later.

    I would like to know how good is my plan.

    Also one more doubt. vtiger is a link http://files.vtiger.com to
download database dumb. Is this database backup get updated daily ?
