Thanks Lajeesh.

It turns out my problem was due to modules data being prepopulated in a script that’s not part of the module. Which I assume is a legacy thing as it is nonsensical in a modular design paradigm.

Hi chris,

Refer any other modules manifest.xml file. Usually I refer payslip module. Also get an idea about ui types. Ui type 10 etc.

Unfortunately the link you provided does not assist. The information is very basic and does little more than an introduction. Much of the insides of vtiger is very opaque.

Is there some documentation which provides details about manifest.xml

I am attempting to create a new module based on the tickets module.

Is there a guide I can use? The very general information available is far from comprehensive and I am wasting a significant amount of time stepping through code each time it fails.

In particular where can I find details about what can and what SHOULD be specified in schema.xml
