Prasad,
Maybe this could be staggered into smaller stages.
So stage 1 could be to have a pre save check, has the record been modified
(mod time) changed since opening this record?
--> a warning message would appear [yes] / [no]
--> perhaps a list of updates.
haven't yet thought of stage 2.
