Hi all,

Am just installing the new Beta release. There is no option during the 
install routine to create any demo data. This is really helpful when 
testing. Is this likely to reappear or should we all plan to build our 
own testing data?

The suggestion that one needs to do:

  chmod -R 775 vtigercrm

is just plain *wrong* and dangerous. You do not need to make *every* 
file in the vtiger tree executable. In fact you do not need to make 
*any* files in the vtiger tree executable.

The only thing necessary after extracting the tarball is to chown it to 
the apache process user & group.
