[Vtigercrm-developers] Related Contacts

Is there an easy way to find related contacts (husband, wife, father, son, partner, etc.) just by clicking on a single contact?
I thought about modifying Accounts module and using it to host the "anchor or main contact" and then relating all contacts to it, including the original anchored contact.
I thought about using tag clouds (i.e. Clauss-Noel to relate  it to a family) but we will probably be using several hundred or even thousands of tags: Not practical.
I would like to see related family members on all of the members' individual contact info and being able to just click and jump to them.
Any suggestions, ideas?
