[Vtigercrm-developers] Vtiger 6 Update - Dec 05, 2013

We have pushed the latest revision of 6.0 now (Rev.
13937<http://trac.vtiger.com/svn/vtiger/vtigercrm/branches/6.0.0/>
)

In the last few weeks we have focused on getting the migration smoother
from Vtiger 5.4.0 to 6.0 and fixed many issues reported on earlier
development revisions of 6.0.

We are coming close to RC release of 6.0. In this direction, we appreciate
your assistance in evaluating the migration tool bundled in 6.0

*ATTENTION: NOT TO BE USED ON / FOR PRODUCTION.*

*This build is intended for community testing purpose only. *

*Migration Steps: *

   - Take back up of your Vtiger 5.4.0 installed source and database dump.
   - Unzip ( vtigercrm-540-600Beta-patch-13937.zip<http://community.vtiger.com/downloads/vtigercrm-540-600Beta-patch-13937.zip>
)
   into Vtiger 5.4.0 folder.
   - Open migrate/index.php from the browser:
      - like... http://yourserver.tld/vtigercrm/migrate/index.php
   - Follow the instructions on the wizard to complete the migration.

*It migrates from 5.4.0 to 6.0.0Beta - we don't plan to provide migration
path from Beta to RC. *

Kindly report issues on trac.vtiger.com - to help us review and address
them.
