[Vtigercrm-developers] Lazy question on webservices.

This is slightly divergent from my take on things.  There is a
readonly field on the vtiger_profile2field table, which makes me
assume that you can make the field read only for particular roles,
which is perfect in this sort of scenario.  Writable for some sort of
automated import role, read only for everybody else.
