[Vtigercrm-developers] Availability of trunk (vtiger 6.0) code?

I have a similar problem here as we plan to develop some SocialCRM 
modules and a better Campaign Module.
We decided to put all on hold and wait for 6.0 when we saw the 
screenshots. But since that the Forum and also this list is very quiet 
about it.

Does it make sense to wait for 6.0 or is there even the possibility that 
it won´t be released in 2012?
