[Vtigercrm-developers] How to login in Vtiger using Html, Jquery client

Hi

   I have created a login page for Vtiger using Html and jquery. This form
contains username,password fields.When submit this form,i want to validate
the user.If user is valid,go next page and get web service session id for
this user.Otherwise it displays error message.

  How to authenticate this user. Can i use Web service for this? or should
i use separate php script for checking database.

  Also In database, password filed has ebcryted password. How to check my
password (entered in textbox) with Database password(encrypted).
