Hi

Yes, the credentials correspond to vtiger database, since I'm working with default settings.

Installation still fails:
Warning: mysql_pconnect(): [2002] No such file or directory (trying to connect via unix:///var/mysql/mysql.sock) in /Applications/AMPPS/www/vtigercrm/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 373
Warning: mysql_pconnect(): No such file or directory in /Applications/AMPPS/www/vtigercrm/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 373

In my Ampps MySQL config this socket it set:
socket = {$path}/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock

It does not seem to correspond to "///var/mysql/mysql.sock"

What should I change?
