[Vtigercrm-developers] forge.vtiger.com - vtmodcreator install?

Well, I could not manage to do it :(

1.
First I tried to merge the whole vtigercrm directory with vtmodcreator-0.1 directory so that I could run the installer form the root. This messed up everything.

2.
Next I moved the whole vtmodcreator-0.1 directory to the vtigercrm root and ran install.now there and I got this:
GFX-S06:vtigercrm user01$ cd /Applications/AMPPS/www/vtigercrm/vtmodcreator-0.1 GFX-S06:vtmodcreator-0.1 user01$ php -f install.nowInstallation Started

Warning: mysql_pconnect(): [2002] No such file or directory (trying to connect via unix:///var/mysql/mysql.sock) in /Applications/AMPPS/www/vtigercrm/vtmodcreator-0.1/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 373

Warning: mysql_pconnect(): No such file or directory in /Applications/AMPPS/www/vtigercrm/vtmodcreator-0.1/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 373
Installation Completed

3.
Third attempt was to move only install.now to vtigercrm root, but it didn't do anything at all.

I also do not know how to "Setup database credentials details in config.php". That is just an "empty" file including config.inc.php.

What I am doing wrong?

BTW, I have a backup clean-install AMPPS vtigercrm instance, so I can just trash the whole thing and start from scratch again. Having a new vtigercrm installation is the only thing that is not a problem :) I hope I will be able can resolve the other issues as well. Please help.

thanx
