[Vtigercrm-developers] vtlib setEntityIdentifier on a picklist?

Can I just check if anyone has tried this?

I have a custom module that I would like to use the value of a Picklist 
field as the EntityIdentifier in relatedListViews etc.

I have quickly modified the vtlib script and the associated module code 
but the column which is used to display the Picklist values is no longer 
active (i.e. not clickable) in ListViews.

Before I do loads of digging, I just wondered if anyone had done this 
and confirm it should work?
