[Vtigercrm-developers] Problem with the date of saved E-Mails with the Outlook plugin

Hi everyone,

I've run into  a little but very annoying bug when attaching E-Mails with the outlook plugin. The date of the saved mail is incorrectly set due to mask settings. I use the dd-mm-yyyy date mask in the user settings, and run the plugin in French locale. The mask is inverted when saving the mail with the plugin, leading to incorrect date in the database.

I've made a workaround (see Ticket 7489) for this.  It works for me, but the solution is not very generic. It may be preferable to correct the bug in the plugin directly, so that it handles the date mask properly. But it seems the plugin source is not available, therefore I cannot make any correction to it.

Maybe someone can include this correction in the plugin, or has a better and more generic solution  ?
