Having looked further I can see that the info is retrieved by
/modules/Calendar/EditView.php from vtiger.fields

I can only assume that an entry for Contacts is missing.

Can someone confirm whether this is intentional, or possibly a bug, and
where I could insert an entry to fix this ?
