[Vtigercrm-developers] Vtlib and Vtiger-3.0

Hello all,
  I am in the planning phase of developing a custom module in vtiger-5.2. I know that vtiger-5.3 will be released shortly and I would like to utilise it for  my upcoming project. However, I didn't see any reference to vtlib in the release notes for 5.3. So it would be really helpful if you can clarify the following questions:

1. Which version of vtlib is used in vtiger-5.3. 
2. Is there any major change in vtlib with respect to vtiger-5.3? If yes, is it documented somewhere?
3. Is there any later version of vtlib after vtlib-2.1?
