[Vtigercrm-developers] Contact syncing for vTiger for the rest of us

Is there any project currently underway to create a Google Apps Marketplace
addon to allow syncing from an account in vTiger to a users' Google Apps
account?  Or is there otherwise any native ability to sync
calendar/contacts/etc without Thunderbird or Outlook?  If not already under
development, would anyone be interested in splitting the costs associated?
 We've been heavy Google Apps/vTiger users for about 8 years and have never
had a solution that works for this.
